Black America Web has a story on 2 of the Army Reserve Sergeants who were involved in the controversy in Iraq we've all been hearing about. It took a little longer than I expected for this story to hit the news hard, but the blogs came out with it some time ago.
I'm not a military person, so I find it hard to pass judgment here. My reference for following orders is based pretty much on the movie A FEW GOOD MEN. I have to believe that refusing to follow orders puts more lives in danger. Smart is smart; safe is safe; but orders are orders. I worry about the effect on morale and the safety of those soldiers who decided not to do what they're supposed to.
