In discussing Bloomberg's defection from the Republican party, a friend said, it was a "you're money is on the dresser, I'm through with you," move. The former Democrat turned Republican turned No Affiliation is a little suspect. Did he just turn temporarily Red to get elected? Is he planning to run, but doesn't want to compete with the other 5,000 candidates in the ring now? From what I read, he's been a okay mayor, but that's for New Yorkers to decide. I did see him speak at a conference in NY in May and he is very much in favor of illegal immigration amnesty, which would prevent me from voting for him if I had the chance.
