The Social Security Administration is being halted by a U.S. District Judge, who wants to keep the organization from sending out letters detailing more serious penalties to employers for hiring illegal immigrants. Judge puts hold on immigration penalty letters to employers - CNN.com. The AFL-CIO says these rules threaten to violate workers' rights and unfairly burden employers. Or maybe, if illegals can't find jobs, they can't pay their union dues?
